Innovative mobile showroom campaign brings Grundfos solutions to the doorsteps of the customer through a state-of-the-art expandable trailer

Mumbai, December 19, 2014: Grundfos Pumps India Pvt Ltd. (Grundfos India) brings a first of its kind, mobile campaign to India. The company is taking its ‘Demand More’ campaign across the country in a 12 meter mobile trailer unit that expands into an actual 67 square meters (721 square feet) showroom. This mobile showroom offers a unique perspective to the customers, offering them a simulated experience of the applications of its pumps.

The ‘Demand More’ campaign highlights new benchmarks in terms of product efficiency and product sustainability. Inside the mobile showroom there are different bays showcasing key pumping solutions necessary for Domestic and Commercial buildings such as de-watering, water supply, cooling, sanitation, safety, etc. Equipped with hi-tech features, the mobile showroom is integrated with GPS. Apart from being fully air-conditioned, the entire mobile showroom is Wi-Fi enabled. Part of the power used by this showroom is generated through collapsible solar panels installed on the roof of the vehicle.

Grundfos India had launched this nation-wide innovative ‘Demand More’ campaign from its headquarters in Chennai in October 2014. The campaign has already covered 10 cities and will now visit Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore before returning to Chennai.

Speaking about the campaign, Venkataramanan Viswanathan, Head - Marketing, Grundfos India said, “Grundfos is a trendsetter in the industry, offering intelligent pumping solutions and we wanted to showcase this to our customers in a unique manner. We therefore brought this customized Grundfos mobile showroom which we use around the world, to India. This mobile campaign has enabled us to take our showroom directly to our customers’ doorsteps. The guided tour inside the trailer ensures that each customer can experience our intelligent pumping solutions first hand.”

To promote the importance of energy efficient pumping solutions, Grundfos India has been encouraging engineering students across these cities to visit this unique showroom.
