Order Handling Coordinator

Purpose of job

Provide timely and effective administrative support to customers, sales teams, unit, or department.

Key Activities

  Assist customers with order progression & delivery time issues.
- Proactively use the dedicated IS systems (SAP, CRM, BW...).
- Proactively work with Supply Chain to ensure world class supplier ratings for order fulfilment and progression.
- Liaise with all intercompany suppliers to ensure smooth and effective operations.
- Issue invoices, credit and debit notes, checking prices, discounts and sales conditions.
- Work with the Finance/Credit Control team to secure on time and outstanding payments.
- Answer the telephone in an agreed manner and within an agreed period of time.
- Follow and adhere to the business processes.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner with our customers at all times.
- Handle customer issues if and when these arise.

Critical knowledge and experience

Industry, market and business environment
- Experience driving well-defined processes within Customer Service Unit.
- Ability to participate in work with processes or projects.
- Ability to participate in a well-defined business process within Customer Service Unit.
- Most likely to have 4-7 years of relevant work experience before entering level besides formal education.

Technical, functional and professional
- Ability influence others and follow processes.
- Some experience supporting key business initiatives.
- Knowledge of best practices and relevant practices, systems in a Customer Service Unit.
