Short Description

Job Purpose

Responsible for supplier relationship for Local suppliers in close cooperation with the local unit and Purchase management.

Responsible for Identifying the supplier, work with auditors to pre approve the supplier, run audits and follow up on Audits.

Responsible for regular contact and follow-up with the suppliers related to performance against target and agreed supplier

development activities.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Responsible for collecting requirements, expected consumption (forecast) etc. from production and relevant local

units.

Provides participants to the Supplier Satisfaction Survey and follows up towards the suppliers concerning the results of

the SSS.

Manages/drives meetings between the operational units and suppliers according to the SRM strategy, guidelines and

agreements.

Responsible for development dialogue with suppliers and implementation of actions.

Identifies and drives supply chain improvements in cooperation with the local units, working with local key suppliers on

Works with local key suppliers on business development sharing strategies, technology road maps and future

Works closely together with the relevant SAMs to follow initiated supplier development activities

Key Activities

- Manage suppliers, agreements, portfolio and total cost of the agreements (MPI, part price, logistic costs etc.).
- Manage the relationship with local suppliers in close cooperation with the local unit and Purchase Management.
- Regular contact and follow-up with suppliers on performance against target and agreed supplier development activities.
- Establish and drive team of key stakeholders from production, planning, technical resources and logistics.
- Drive supplier negotiations.
- Apply knowledge of the local supplier market, technologies, product trends, price trends and the existing as well as future opportunities in the local market.
- Secure the tendering process RFI/RFQ for local categories.
- Secure that negotiations are closed by signing a Grundfos Framework Agreement - FWA.
- Participate in system audits, CSR audits etc.
- Secure deliverables on required VPC activities, including approval of supply chain.
- Track the performance of suppliers with the agreed frequency and evaluate against set targets.
- Drive meetings between the operational units and suppliers according to the SRM strategy, guidelines and agreements.
- Identify and drive supply chain improvements in cooperation with local units.
- Collect requirements, expected consumption etc. from production and local units.

Critical knowledge and experience

- Contribute with well-defined elements to developed processes within purchase.
- Ability to contribute to processes or projects.
- Ability to contribute business process within purchase.
- Most likely to have 0-3 years of relevant work experience before entering level besides formal education.

- Solid knowledge of the plans, processes and activities within the functional area in purchase.
- Strong ability influence others.
- Possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable, for purchase.
