SVRCC also looks to impart training on pump usage and servicing, monitoring and troubleshooting of plumbing, installation in residential, institutional as well as commercial buildings. The college also guides the budding young entrepreneurs on how to run a small business. Additionally, this course also includes training on life skills, comprising of spoken and written English, basics of computer, soft skills, entrepreneurship, yoga and meditation.
“Since its launch in 2014, this plumbing course has empowered so many of our youth to become skilled plumbers in the country”, said Ranganath NK, Managing Director, Grundfos India. “As the industry is growing and becoming more complex with the introduction of new products and technologies, it is even more critical to have skilled plumbers. We are happy to work with SVRCC on providing a training platform that matches the industry’s requirements.”
G. V Subramaniam, Founder, SVRCC, said “What started out as an endeavour to impart quality training to the underprivileged youth of today has scaled new heights.
