Grundfos India aspires to build the next generation of sustainability leaders
Promotes this at CII’s 13th Sustainability Summit
New Delhi, September 6, 2018: Grundfos India is one of the sponsors of the 13th Sustainability Summit, the annual flagship event of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Businesses, governments and civil society are working in tandem to find solutions to better manage available resources. The Sustainability Summit provides a platform to discuss the areas of common interest working towards betterment of the people and planet.
Grundfos is partnering to promote this Summit as it focuses on topics such as, global governance and risks, energy, water, well-being, science and action, circular economy, sanitation, empowerment, social entrepreneurs and changemakers. This two-day event, scheduled on September 6 & 7 presents sustainability solutions, best practices, enhance learning experiences and develop partnerships to position innovative ideas into action.
Gaurav Mathur, Head of Businesses Development at Grundfos India, will be one of the panelists on the session on ‘Next Generation of Sustainability Leaders’. Commenting on the subject, he said, “The new generation of leaders will need to operate in a world where sustainability is no longer a value addition but a core part of business operations. At Grundfos our approach has always been to do business while minimizing impact on the environment. Sustainability is not only a key part of the company’s DNA but also is a business differentiator for us. We are strong supporters of and are very engaged in the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, focusing primarily on SDGs #6 (water) and #13 (climate), where we truly can make a difference with our competencies. We hope to aspire future leaders to adapt a sustainability mind-set through discussions such as these.”
