Grundfos India is working towards making India water smart and secure
New Delhi, October 4, 2018: Grundfos India, one of the leading pump manufacturers in the country is the Gold Sponsor at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) 4th Water Innovation Summit 2018. This two-day event, scheduled on October 4th & 5th aims at transforming India to become water smart and secure.
Grundfos is focused on promoting the UN Sustainability Development Goal (SDG) 6, which focuses on water. In line with this Ranganath N K, Managing Director of Grundfos India is also a Member, Advisory Board, CII – Triveni Water Institute & Member of Jury, CII National Awards for Excellence in Water Management & Co-Chair of the CII National Committee on Water. The company is a pioneer of advanced water technologies and through this Summit hopes to also promote the requirement to have intelligent water and wastewater solutions that can be adopted by Government, organizations and communities. Ranganath N K, will be speaking at the summit on the topic ‘Future of Water: Can you afford not to act now?’. Sharing his views on the subject, Ranganath said, “Today when we talk about water, we see a lot of issues mainly scarcity, pollution, flooding, wastage and drought. It’s exacerbated by the politics and emotion attached to it. There needs to be an integrated approach to managing water and wastewater. There are various smart technologies available to handle water and companies like Grundfos are good at. What is required is a collaborative approach where the various stakeholders need to come together to focus on adopting and implementing these technologies.”
