Grundfos India receives more than 2300 entries for the photo-contest to promote energy & water conservation
Grundfos India organized its annual online photo contest recently and received an
overwhelming response of more than 2300 entries! This year’s contest was titled
‘Save a Drop’ and focussed on promoting water and energy conservation. The contest was hosted on Grundfos India’s social media platforms, Ek Boondh Pani (EBP) and i Save Energy (ISE) on Facebook & Twitter from November 1 – 30, 2018. Through this contest Grundfos India aimed to highlight the key role that water and energy played in everyone’s lives.
The contest encouraged participates to capture the play of light on drops of water in their photographs in a creative manner. The company shortlisted the top 50 photographs from 2300+ entries received for judging. Some of Grundfos India’s leaders were then invited to judge these photographs. The photographs were also exhibited in the office where the employees were able to visit and see the photographs. The winning participants received exciting prices and will now also be see their photos displayed on various platforms.
Commenting on the success of this photo-contest, Mahathi Parashuram, Regional Head – Public Affairs, Communications & Relations, Asia Pacific Region, Grundfos said, “When you combine a passion like photography with a cause like water and energy conservation, the result can only be something beautiful. Through this contest, we at Grundfos India hoped to create more awareness for sustainable water and energy use. The overwhelming response to this contest has shown us that we succeeded in getting this message across to thousands of people in India”.
